I was born and raised in Cali - Colombia. I have worked as an elementary teacher in my home country since 1998 until I moved to NC in 2018 where I worked as Spanish immersion teacher until 2023. 2024 - 25 year will be my second year at LES, and I am thrilled to share my culture with the students. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early childhood education from CENDA University in Colombia, and a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a second language from UNIR University in La Rioja Spain. Beyond the classroom, I enjoy traveling and learning about new cultures. These experiences enrich my teaching and help me bring a global perspective to my lessons.
