I earned my Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Finance from Mount St. Mary’s University. I graduated from Wilmington University with my Masters of Education in 2009.
I love teaching and feel very fortunate to have the chance to work with so many wonderful young people. I have been teaching at Shields Elementary for 7 years. I started teaching fourth grade in my first year at Capital School District and I have been fortunate to move around to other grades since arriving at Shields. I have also taught 6th grade, 4th grade and 3rd grade.
I was born and raised in New York and moved to Delaware after college. Most of my family still lives there except my sister, Lacey, who also teaches for the Cape Henlopen School District.
I enjoy spending time with my family and hanging out with friends. One of my favorite things to do is fish. I find it to be relaxing and exciting. I live in Lewes with my husband Ray, my two daughters Evelyn and Delaney and my animals.
